The Signature Tree Program
Trees benefit us in many ways and as a community we place great value on the aesthetics of our environment.
There is an enormous amount of work involved with urban landscape design and implementation, which is necessary for long term tree health as well as for public safety. It is therefore crucial that the right tree is chosen for any given urban situation. The challenge for the Nurseryman is to continually add variety to the pallet available for selection by designers, within our challenging environemental constraints.
Take a sneak peak at the new varieties we are developing for use in streetscapes, parks and gardens. These lines are predominantly native and offer a fresh take on the common lines with increased performance, bold flowering displays coupled with compact height.
Corymbia citriodora 'Pink Dwarf'
This fantastic selection has fine leaves, grows to 8 metres in 20 years, remains fully ‘dressed’ with little to no limb drop and has the most magnificent salmon pink bark. Grafted onto C. maculata this tree will appeal for street tree and general amenity plantings. More info...
Eucalyptus leucoxylon 'Scarlet'
This is a selection of leucoxylon that has exceptional flowering, rich scarlet in colour, excellent foliage and plant performance as well as good drought tolerance. More info...
To assist in our trialling of these exciting new lines and to complement our own development processes, we are looking for special landscape projects to 'introduce' these selections into the landscape. Confident in the performance of our selections we think you'll be excited by having this material first!
The above lines are available in limited quantities. Contact us for more information and to register your interest in working with us to change the face of the Australian landscape!
