Malus atrosanguinea 'Gorgeous'
This is an attractive small ornamental tree, with masses of small pink buds opening to single white flowers in spring. Red fruit is bourne on long stems making the tree more open and pendulous.
Uses
This is a very pretty ornamental tree, great as a feature tree in a small garden or planted in a small group if there is space. Budding branches are often used in floral arrangements.
Preferred Position & Soil
While this variety is tolerant of most soil types it is best grown cool-climate gardens in humus rich soil in a protected sunny spot.
