Nyssa sylvatica
An attractive tree with highly ornamental bark and good autumn foliage. It has a conical shape but rounds off when mature. Foliage is dark green and glossy turning yellowish-apricot to bright scarlet in autumn. Bark is dark grey to very dark brown.

A popular tree for larger parks and gardens.
