Squeeze me in! Trees for tight spaces

Our modern living has us making the most of every bit of landscape space we can. Trees for screening off other properties is in high demand. Talk to us for recommendations based on size and aspect suitable for your project.

Pyrus calleryana 'Capital'

Capital Ornamental Pear

A very popular tree for lining driveways and paths. Offers a full and fat screen when planted close together and looks fabulous multi-planted in a grove. We have ample supply many sizes but you need to be quick!

Liriodendron tulipifera 'fastigiata'

Upright Tulip Tree

This is a narrower form of straight Liriodendron tulipifera. It has the same glorious big leaf and yellowish-green flowers but its upright form makes it far more suitable for tight spaces. We have good numbers coming on in 40/27L and 50cm/52L containers. Talk to us for more information to secure your order.

Cupressus sempervirens 'glauca'

Italian Pencil Pine

This tree is such a classic for Mediterranean gardens and is commonly used to line paths and driveways. Planted close together it works really well as a tall screen too, and being an evergreen it does the job year-round. We have great numbers ready to go in 30cm and 40cm/27L containers.

Banksia integrifolia 'Sentinel'

'Sentinel' Banksia

This is a small shrub with medium frost tolerance for use as a dense narrow flowering screen. Preferring full sun to light shade it produces upright lemon brush-like flowers from late summer to winter. Responds well to pruning.

Syzygium australe 'SAN01' Straight and Narrow ™

Straight and Narrow Lilly Pilly

This Lilly Pilly is a better form than the narrow growing 'Pinnacle' due to its dense foliage and naturally columnar form. Foliage is a mid-green colour and fruits are reddish-pink. As the name suggests it is a great selection for narrow spaces.

Acmena smithii 'DOW30' Sublime ™ (syn. Syzygium)

Sublime Creek Lilly Pilly

This is a lovely hardy foliage-feature tree with refreshing lime new growth and dense foliage to the ground. A great option for hedging or screening to around 5m tall. In summer, some white fluffy flowers appear, berry production is unlike other Lilly Pillies, with minimal quantities of small edible deep to light mauve berries that don't stain surfaces if left or crushed.
