Acacia implexa

Lightwood, Hickory Wattle

An upright small to medium tree growing to 8m that is native to Australia. It has similar wood to Acacia melanoxylon when young. It is drought tolerant and upright growing suitable for urban situations.

Acer platanoides 'Crimson Sentry'

Upright Crimson Norway Maple

This is a flashy crimson foliaged maple growing to 7m with dense upright branching. Offers great autumnal colour and contrast foliage. It's upright nature lends itself well to street plantings.

Acmena smithii 'BWNFIR' Firescreen ™ (syn. Syzygium)

Firescreen Creek Lilly Pilly

A versatile and attractive Lilly Pilly to 6m tall. It is fast grower with a slightly broader leaf than straight Acmena smithii. It has a semi pendulous, dense growth habit right to ground level. 

Allocasuarina littoralis

Black Sheoak

An erect conical shaped tree which has dark fissured bark which looks black at certain times of the year. This is an attractive, fast growing tree which is highly suitable for costal conditions.

Allocasuarina torulosa

Forest Sheoak

Very drought hardy once established. Can be pruned heavily if required. Self mulching and long lived.Thick canopy up to 8m high in cultivation. May turn a dark purple hue in cooler months which adds to aesthetic appeal. A useful street tree particularly in coastal conditions.

Allocasuarina verticillata

Drooping Sheoak

Small to medium sized tree, grey-green crown and pine-needle like foliage. Once mature it forms a spreading tree with a relatively dense weeping canopy. It is self mulching and most suitable for sites where it can be allowed to maintain its natural form and low branching. 

Arbutus unedo

Irish Strawberry Tree

An understated and under-utilised tree for urban environments. Requires formative pruning when young and is easy to maintain and prune. For its size is makes a good street tree and specimen for under power lines. 

Banksia marginata

Silver Banksia

This Australian native tree has a dense growth habit with long green leaves with silver undersides. Growing to 5m tall it is a useful tree for urban plantings and will attract native birds. It can be easily pruned for areas requiring visual clearance. 

Brachychiton populneus x acerifolius 'Bella Donna'

Bella Donna Brachychiton

A new grafted selection growing to 5m tall with a dense canopy once mature. This is a good selection for streetscapes and a reliable selection as a shade tree.

Callistemon citrinus 'Kings Park Special'

Kings Park Bottlebrush

This native small tree grows to about 4m tall and 2m wide. Flowers form beautiful crimson spikes and the tree has a neat rounded form.  It is a good selection for parks and gardens and in streetscapes where space is limited. Pruning is easy and will improve density.

Callistemon salignus

White Bottlebrush, Willow Bottlebrush. Also known as Melaleuca salicina

An attractive small tree growing to 9m in the right position. It has lovely green foliage that is willow like and a dense growth habit. It features cream bottle brush flowers which attract birdlife.

Corymbia ficifolia 'Baby Orange'

Grafted Flowering Gum

For a striking street tree it is difficult to go past a dwarf flowering gum. Growing to 3m this tree branches well and has a dense canopy that is covered by its striking orange flowers in summer.

Corymbia ficifolia 'Wild Sunset'

Grafted Flowering Gum

A smaller growing grafted gum to 6m with masses of striking orange flowers and deep green leathery leaves that have a bronzy tinge when young. The canopy is very dense. It is a slightly taller option than 'Baby Orange' and one of a number of options for colour and size.

Eucalyptus forrestiana

Fuchsia Gum

A pretty multi stemmed native tree growing between 4-7m tall with dark green canopy. Brilliant red cap-like flowers and are real feature. Bark is strikingly smooth and grey. Tall enough as a street tree with easy pedestrian vision and small enough to sit nicely under powerlines.

Eucalyptus leucoxylon 'Euky Dwarf'

Dwarf Yellow Gum

A shapely native tree to 6m tall with a light open canopy, single trunk and smooth bark that sheds. It's grey-green leaves once mature is offset by masses of pink, red and sometimes cream blossom from late autumn to early summer. Bird attracting. Its compact height makes this tree very suitable for streetscapes.

Eucalyptus leucoxylon megalocarpa

Large-fruited Yellow Gum

This native tree grows to 8m and is tolerant of most soil types including compacted soils.  Useful as a shade tree or windbreak. requires formative pruning in the early growth stages to develop a good, strong structure.

Eucalyptus pauciflora 'Little Snowman'

Dwarf Snow Gum

A small native tree with a pendulous habit that grows 4-7m depending on its environment. Bird and butterfly attracting, it's foliage is dark green to greenish blue and narrow in shape but still holds that typical large, thick and waxy pauciflora leaf. 

Hakea salicifolia

Willow-leafed Hakea

A beautiful small tree to 5m that can be used stand-alone tree, mixed with other natives or hedged to great effect due to its fine narrow leaf and bushy habit. Branching to the ground, we view this as a great tree for shade in temperate and sub-tropical areas.

Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Sioux'

Crepe Myrtle (hot musk pink)

For real statement, this deciduous tree will define a streetscape or avenue planting. Like all Lagerstroemia varieties 'Sioux' has great appeal in terms of colour and interest across the year. Growing to 5m it is perfect for boulevards and shopping precincts.

Melia azedarach

White Cedar, China Berry

This tree is fast growing to 10m tall. Drought tolerant and able to tolerate temporary inundation. Thrives in a wide variety of soil types and is quite frost tolerant. This tree has traditionally been used in parks and as street trees as it is good for shade. A little formative pruning as junior material goes a long way to encouraging a strong, naturally rounded canopy.

Pistacia chinensis

Chinese Pistachio

A wonderful tree with great autumn colour in shades of orange, yellow and red. Is tolerant of extremely dry soils. Care is taken in the production nursery to establish a central leader and straight trunk. After that and once the canopy is developed, it establishes easily in the landscape. A good selection for under power lines and as a street tree.

Pyrus calleryana 'Cleveland Select'

Cleveland Select Ornamental Pear

A medium sized tree with 3-6m spread making it great for row or avenue planting. It grows quickly with a dense growth habit and branches growing upright. This tree has fantastic scarlet red colouring during autumn. A hardy, adaptable and stunning ornamental tree perfect for sites which are confined or restricted.

Tristaniopsis laurina 'DOW10' Luscious ®

Luscious Kanooka Gum, Water Gum

This is an updated version of the straight Tristaniopsis laurina with larger and shinier dark green leaves and new growth that starts out a distinctive copper colour. Over time branches develop a deep purple colour bark that peels.  A good alternative to Magnolia due to its foliage colour and large leaf, and great for use in streetscapes.

Ulmus parvifolia 'Burnley Select'

Burnley Select Chinese Elm

'Burnley Select' is an attractive small to medium-sized semi-deciduous, ornamental tree with glossy dark green leaves which turn yellow before falling in winter. It is narrow spreading so ideal for use in streetscapes. Elms generally are perfect for urban use due to size, tolerance of urban sites and quick growth.
