A beautiful small tree growing to approximately 4 metres in height. Produces dark purple leaves in spring, turning reddish in the summer months before turning scarlet in autumn. Provides great multi-seasonal foliage colour.

A beautiful small specimen tree for a small garden or courtyard. Adds great colour and texture in larger garden and landscapes. Works well in containers and group plantings. Offers good contrasting colour with lime green and silver foliaged plants.

Prefers being planted in a protected area of the landscape away from full sun and hot winds that can scorch the leaves. Prefers a well-drained, moist soil.
