Foliage Deciduous
Form Weeping

Family Aceraceae
A graceful and wide spreading weeping Japanese Maple with bright green foliage that has fine serrated foliage giving it a feathery appearance. Green leaves turn a brilliant scarlet-red in autumn. The flowers are small and red in spring.

Most Japanese Maples make wonderful feature trees due to their shape, leaf shape and colour. They are very suitable for courtyards with protection from full sun and hot winds. Due to its spread, it is recommended for larger gardens and open spaces.

Prefers being planted in a protected area of the landscape away from full sun and hot summer winds that can stress the tree. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
