The Imperial mandarin is a large evergreen shrub to small tree that produces fruits with a pale smooth skin. It has glossy green dense foliage and perfumed white flowers, which are followed by edible fruit.
Citrus are mainly ornamental and practical plants for the garden and are commonly used as both a feature and for their produce. Citrus thrive in a sunny, humid environment, and have low frost tolerance. They grow best in open free draining, fertile soils and like regular watering. Plant in an open sunny position and protect from frost. Can be grown in pots and containers. |
