This is a small evergreen fruiting tree native to the Asian region. Leaves are deep green and small.

It produces small, strongly perfumed flowers in late spring and bright orange edible fruits in autumn. The edible fruit closely resembles that of the orange (Citrus sinensis), but it is much smaller and ovular, being approximately the size and shape of a large olive.

Full sun, well drained and well-mulched location, requires regular feeding.
