Tree Acacia mearnsii Late Black Wattle Tree, Green Wattle Tree
Description A fast-growing small evergreen tree (or large shrub), growing with an open canopy with pretty green foliage. Flowering from September through December most years, with an abundance of creamy yellow round wattle flowers. It is native to south-eastern Australia and occurs naturally as a tree that quickly establishes and binds soils after bushfires. It is also fixes nitrogen in soils and is a great source of food for native animals.

Uses A lovely flowering tree/shrub that provides native fauna habitat, it is a great bird, bee and butterfly attractor.
