Tree Aesculus indica Indian Horse Chestnut
Description A relative of the common horse chestnut, the Indian horse chestnut from the Himalayas is a spectacular early summer flowering tree, which produces smaller seeds than the common horse chestnut. It has a spreading crown and glossy leaves that start out bronze. Flowers are white with a pink tinge.

Mature Size 8 x 5m
Uses This is an ornamental in temperate regions. Makes a lovely specimen tree.
Position & Soil Prefers a sunny position. Also suitable for colder climate gardens, should cope with frosts and light snow.
