Description A drought tolerant, slow growing tree native to the warmer parts of the east coast of Australia, this tree is known for its masses of crimson flowers in spring-summer when the tree is totally devoid of foilage.

Uses Good as a shade tree in larger landscapes. Ideal for parks and streetscapes. Can also be used in large gardens as a feature tree.
Position & Soil Prefers a well drained fertile soil in full sun. Can tolerate most soils including heavy soils to rocky infertile soils. Is a drought tolerant tree.
