Description	This is a great winter flowering tree growing to 8m tall. It is a very distinctive tree, with long tassel-like flowers. Its leaves are glossy on top and give it good tolerance to industrial and coastal pollution. But underneath, the leaves are wonderfully woolly and quite soft.

Uses	This is a wonderful tree as a winter flowering feature. It can also be espaliered against a wall. Prune lightly after flowering to keep its shape.
Position & Soil	Likes an open, sunny or a slightly shaded position with a preference for sandy or even rocky soil types over heavy clay soils.
