Tree Liriodendron tulipifera 'aureamarginatum'
Description Another tall and handsome tree like Lirodendron tulipulifera but with a yellow rim to its leaves and a more conical shape. Produces the same big, tulip-like single flowers in Spring. Flowers only grow after 7 years or older.

Uses Great as a specimen tree in a spacious landscape. Can be used in parks or large gardens where it can grow and flourish to its full potential.
Position & Soil Prefers a well-drained, fertile, slightly acidic soil in a temperate climate but also tolerates most soils. Enjoys full sun but can occasionally get sun scorched leaves. Tolerates air pollution.
