Description	Another tall and handsome tree like Liriodendron tulipifera, but with variegated leaves (a yellow rim to its green leaves) and a more conical shape. Produces the same big, orange and yellow tulip-like single flowers in Spring. Flowers only grow after 7 years or older.

Uses	Great as a specimen tree in a spacious landscape. Can be used in parks or large gardens where it can grow and flourish to its full potential.
Position & Soil	Prefers a well-drained, fertile, slightly acidic soil in a temperate climate but also tolerates most soils. Enjoys full sun but can occasionally get sun scorched leaves. Tolerates air pollution.
