Tree Magnolia x soulangeana Saucer Magnolia, Tulip Magnolia (deciduous)
Description This deciduous small tree with large green leaves that fall in autumn. This tree has magnificent large purple flowers shaped like a tulip. These appear before the leaves in late winter/spring and are a great contrast against the dark branches. The foliage is green and glossy appearing after the flowers.

Uses Its beautiful flower will make it a favourite in the garden. It can be planted singularly or in a row both in parks and landscapes.
Position & Soil This magnolia prefers a moist, deep soil in a full sun position for best growth and flowers. It can tolerate a wide range of soils.
