Ginkgo biloba 'Mariken'

Foliage Deciduous
Form Standard
Mature Size 1.0m grafted
Family Ginkgoaceae
This tree form is a standard. 'Mariken' is a stocky, slow growing, dwarf form of Gingko with a much denser habit and thicker branches than the original form. It will eventually grow wider than it is tall without any training. The foliage, although smaller in size, is dense and cup shaped in appearance with the same fan shape and equally stunning autumn colour as its parent plant.

'Mariken' is grown as a standard and used as a feature tree in residential gardens. Leaves from this tree can be used for teas.

This tree can grow in almost any position but best in moist, deep, fertile soil. Full sun or part shade.
