Bull Bay Magnolia (evergreen) This beautiful dense tree usually forms a dome shape with dark green glossy leaves and brown velvety underside. The elegant cup-shaped white flowers are bold and come out in spring to summer. The seedpods are soft and scaled with bright red seeds eventually falling. This is a great feature tree with elegant flowers. Can also be used in parks and in gardens. Performs best in part shade, tolerates polluted city atmospheres. Magnolias require organic, well-drained soils with summer irrigation for success. |
