Malus domestica 'Pink Lady' ™

Foliage Deciduous
Form Round
Mature Size 3 x 2.5m
Family Rosaceae
Pink Lady Fruiting Apple

An Australian bred fruiting apple with bright pink blushed skin and crispy, smooth-textured flesh, making it a wonderful eating/dessert apple. Ripening late in the season, from mid to late May, this variety stores well and is self-pollinating, however will be much higher yielding if cross-pollinated with a companion. Foliage is green with a slightly downy underside turning yellow in autumn.

A small fruiting tree, used as a feature in a small garden or planted in a group where there is more space. An ideal deciduous fruit tree for a small garden.

Plant in moderately fertile, moist, free-draining soil in full sun, although it will tolerate partial shade. Keep a clear area around the trunk of at least 60cm radius.
