Chinese Poplar This is a quick growing fastigiate deciduous tree. The green shiny leaves are oval to diamond-shaped, with a pale silvery underside. They turn a brilliant yellow in the autumn months. Great for decidous screening and avenue plantings. Great for large parks. Prefers a well drained humus rich soil but will tolerate light to heavy soils. Best in more acidic soils. Populus love a full sun position. Tolerant to high winds. |
