This variety produces big, yellowy-red skinned, round fruit. It has a yellow flesh that is sweet in flavour. Freestone. Needs to pollinate with another Japanese Plum variety.

This is a good eating plum that can also be stewed, bottled and made into jam.

Plant in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Take care to plant the bud union (graft) above the soil level. Water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is established. Prune trees each year to encourage new growth.
