This is another attractive deciduous fruiting tree for small gardens with strong upright growth. It produces a large sweetish purplish plum highly regarded for eating, preserving and stewing. The flesh is yellow.

This is a very popular fruiting plum. A good choice for small gardens.

Prefers a humus-rich soil in a full sun position in a moderate climate. Can be heavy bearing, so some thinning of fruit is required.
