Mop Top Robinia (Locust) As a dense, rounded standard, 'Mop Tops' make a statement no matter where you plant them. A good selection for courtyards and small planting spaces as the head can be controlled with pruning each year. Foliage is a lovely mid-green turning yellow in autumn. Use as a single feature specimen in a small space or courtyards or in multiples along a path or driveway. Tolerant to most well-drained soil including poor, dry, and compacted situations. Tolerant of wind, pollution, frost, drought, and coastal conditions. Prefers full sun to part shade positions. |
