Tree Eucalyptus forrestiana Fuchsia Gum
Description This compact tree is native to a small area near Esperance in Western Australia. Its most striking feature is the display of bright red flower buds which hang on the tree before opening to reveal clusters of yellow stamens from summer through to autumn. Foliage is dark green and the bark is smooth and grey, peeling off in long ribbons during summer.

Uses Great as a streetscape tree or small to large garden that adds colour in summer and winter.
Position & Soil Prefers moist soil in a sunny position. Prefers well-drained soils and can tolerate frost and drought.
