For the first time Red Bull is bringing the thrill of tree climbing to Balranald NSW.

Here 100 of the best tree climber will be pitted against each other in a timed race up and down Australia's iconic River Red Gums.

Come finals, seven targets will be set in a large tree canopy where the climbers will use rope and branches, swinging, climbing and racing through the canopy in a timed, progressive event format. In the end, only one male and one female will be crowned 2017 Red Bull Branched Out Champions!

Organisers currently have registered climbers from USA, UK, NZ and Australia. This plans to be an event not to be missed.

In addition to the $12,500.00 cash already up for grabs at the Red Bull Branched Out Event, industry partners Honey Bros and Teufelberger has donated MORE equipment for prizes on top of the cash already given. This outstanding list of equipment will be allocated to the winners and place getters:

6 x Tree Motion Harness
5 x Rigging Block DNM
2 x Distel Aluminum Spur
2 x ICD4 Rescue Descender
4 x ART Spider Jack 3
4 x Petzel Zig Zag
6 x Teufelberger Tachion Climbing Rope spliced 45 metres
4 x Buckingham Porta Wrap

This equipment now pushes the value of cash and prizes to around $20,000.00, making this the highest-valued event for our industry in the world.

Spaces are limited to 100 climbers, and registrations close at 6pm on 29th September 2017.
