For 40 years Speciality Trees has been a leader in the production and supply of advanced environmentally sustainable, containerised landscape trees for local government, the landscaping industry and retailers.
At Speciality Trees, we grow a broad range of native, deciduous and evergreen trees in semi advanced to super advanced sizes up to five metres in height, including a range of specimen trees and shrub varieties suitable for screening.
All our trees are grown and supplied in containers of the size indicated under our Catalogue on this website. Tree heights do vary however and it is recommended that these be used as a guide only. For confirmation of heights, widths and calipers, please contact us directly. Variations in demand and supply may affect availability from time to time, but to avoid disappointment we encourage customers to place orders well in advance.
This is the most reliable, time and cost effective way to purchase trees to your specification. We are experienced in this area and more than happy to assist with the co-ordination of all of your project tree requirements. A deposit will be required at the time of placing the order. A delivery date will also be required to be specified at this time. Holding fees are applicable on all material held 30 days beyond the agreed delivery date and will be charged based on a set fee per tree by size. Delivery charges are based on the delivery destination ex nursery and the number and size of trees being delivered. Please discuss your requirements with sales staff when placing your order. Deliveries into other states can be arranged and all cost on-charged accordingly. All interstate deliveries are subject to current DPI specifications and requirements for the transport of green life.
Due to material handling specifications under OH&S, material 100L or greater requires the assistance of two people. We therefore ask for the customer to provide an additional resource at the receiving end or alternatively we will supply a second resource at an additional cost to the customer. All requirements are discussed with the customer at the time of order.
All goods remain the property of Speciality Trees Pty Ltd until paid for in full.
Payment is required on delivery. Established account customers are required to remain within agreed terms from the date of invoice. Payment by direct debit and credit card is available and can be arranged over the phone. Where trees are ordered for supply after a period of 30 days or more, or are subject to contract growing terms, a deposit of 25% is required. Additional holding charges may apply for additional extensions of time. Holding charges are calculated on the size and number of trees being held over longer than the agreed delivery date. All endeavours will be made to remind customers of orders due for delivery and/or pickup.
Speciality Trees guarantee that all tree stock supplied will be true to type and in a sound and healthy condition at the time of pick up or delivery. Plants found not to meet these criteria will be replaced, or at our discretion, a refund of the purchase price paid may be made. Any claims must be lodged with Speciality Trees within 3 days of receipt of stock. No liability is accepted in excess of the purchase price paid. Any damage to plants in transit must be drawn to the attention of the carrier. Guarantees in respect of continued growth and health of trees after delivery can be offered only where site supervision arrangements have been made with us.
Visits to our nursery are welcome between 8.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday and by appointment only on Saturday morning. We ask that customers ring the office before arriving to ensure staff members are available to assist with enquiries. Visits outside of normal office hours can be arranged by calling the office on telephone 03 9796 8308.

Ben Scoble is the Nursery Manager. With over 15 years horticultural experience in retail & wholesale nursery environments in areas of plant development, plant management & wholesale plant production, he is involved with all growing & selling facets across the business.
Gaby Mitchell is joint owner & our Finance &Administration Manager. With many years experience in a number of key business support areas, her role at Speciality Trees encompasses accounts administration & infrastructure development.
Lee-Ann Officer is Marketing Manager at Speciality Trees. With over 18 years experience in behind-the-scenes horticultural roles covering advertising, branding & business process, her focus is on business development, marketing and marketing communications.
David Bolton is our Sales Manager. With horticultural science quals from the University of Western Sydney & experience in civil engineering & landscaping in Sydney, he moved to Melbourne and broadened his experience further working in wholesale tree production, garden centre & big box retailing. David heads up our sales team.
John Simpson has over 15 years experience covering nursery production and hands-on landscaping know-how as a small business owner and sub-contractor. His ability to assist selection and co-ordinate the complete job, makes him an integral member of our sales team and a great place to start your enquiry.
With over 15 years in the industry Jodie O’Toole brings a wealth of practical know-how to the sales team. With qualifications in horticulture and sustainable landscape design, she is the ideal resource to co-ordinate your entire project, mixing design, knowledge and our quality material for great results.
As Business Services Manager Brent Schuurmans’ attention to fine detail is extraordinary and with that comes responsibility for a number of our administration and IT business processes. High on the list is the management of our tendering processes and numerous large-scale contract grow arrangements. He is also our go-to guy for everything IT!
