If you provide consulting services or contracting services or are employed by managing authorities dedicated to the care and conservation of trees in our towns and cities to make them more liveable, or simply a pathological tree lover, then the national TREENET Symposium conference and field day is for you!

This year, keynote speaker Dr Josh Byrne will lead the “STREETS AHEAD” program with the Bob Such Keynote Address: “Keeping the Green in Densifying Cities”.

The program brings together some 23 academics and professionals from a broad range of disciplines to help us consider our expectation for ‘streets of the future’; and to expose us to innovative approaches that are indeed ‘streets ahead’.

Urban trees are and will continue to be essential parts of city infrastructure - in many ways, the sustainability and liveability of our cities depend on them.  What is realistic?

Will they be planned and designed with a people-centred approach?
Do we want/need leafier streets?

We have both a responsibility and a duty to ensure a legacy of treed cities for future generations. No one else will do it, it really is up to us!

For more information visit the TREENET website.

Take advantage of the locked-in 'early bird' registration fees.

Register and pay before 5:00PM Tuesday 28th August 2018 to secure your place.
