Accounts Officer

Speciality Trees, a quality-driven multi-site production nursery in Victoria is seeking an Accounts Officer to join its Head Office team at Narre Warren East.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated with strong people skills to ensure the day-to-day account processing duties and fortnightly payroll responsibilities are fulfilled, assisting with administration duties as required. This person will work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager to ensure the accuracy of the information and completion of associated agency tasks.

Candidates must demonstrate advanced knowledge of Xero software features beyond basic bookkeeping functions. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role is essential and some Reckon software experience would be advantageous as the business transitions to the Xero platform.

Candidates must have proven experience in payroll processing, be able to work autonomously and with confidence to support and contribute to a vibrant and busy office environment will be highly regarded.

This is a part time position working 15-20 hours per week, with hours negotiable for the right applicant. Generous pay and conditions are provided for consistent high performance.
