Description This hardy box elder has purple branches and showy reddish-violet flowers that hang from branches. Foliage starts out copper-green in colour, becoming a deeper green as it ages. Growth is golden yellow in autumn. Its pendulous clusters of flowers gives it an impressive look as a single garden specimen. Has an upright habit and pyramidal form.
