Description This is a species of woody shrub, widely used as an understorey plant. It generally grows as a small shrub with long narrow leaves. Flower colour varies between brown, red, orange and gold. Offers a long flowering period from autumn through the winter to spring when the three stages of cone development can be observed - bud, flower spike and seed capsule.
