Description This Japanese Persimmon is a vigorous and hardy medium-sized tree with an upright, spreading habit. It is a deciduous tree with large, glossy green foliage and provides good autumn colour with the leaves turning orange, yellow and red before falling. Small, waxy, ivory coloured flowers are produced in spring, followed by non astringent, deep orange, tomato-shaped fruits which develop their sweetness over autumn and mature once the leaves have fallen, hanging decoratively on the bare branches of the tree into winter.
