Description This is a mallee Eucalyptus originating in Western Australia. The multi-stemmed nature of this variety together with its dense canopy of rounded leaves gives this tree a large shrubby look. Bark is smooth and light brown in colour, turning to grey with age. Creamy yellow to greenish yellow coloured flowers appear from spring through to autumn and so this variety is popular among bee keepers.

Uses Relatively fast-growing, this variety will tolerate heavy soils and responds well to pruning and coppicing. Growing between 5 and 7 metres in height, it has a rounded form to ground level, making it a good choice for screening and windbreaks.    
Position & Soil Able to cope with coastal conditions and a variety of soil types. It is a very adaptable species which will grow almost anywhere other than in very wet and cold areas.
