This is a cross between two of the most popular, attractive and hardy Michelia varieties; yunnansensis (syn. laevifolia) and figo. A highly ornamental, medium-sized evergreen with a narrow form and dense habit, it is perfect for screening, hedging and espalier. It produces medium-sized, fragrant, creamy white flowers in late spring/early summer which makes it a great stand-alone specimen in the garden as well.
