Leptospermum obovatum 'Starry Night'
A graceful pendulous shrub or small tree with soft, fine, dark purple foliage and purple-pink young stems. In late spring and summer, the bronze buds open to a profusion of long-lasting snowy flowers.
Uses
This variety would make a beautiful informal hedge or screen. Due to its weeping habit it would make a elegant feature planting.
Preferred Position & Soil
Leptospermum 'Starry Night' is tolerant of most soil conditions but prefers a well drained humus rich soil. Thrives in an open position in sun or part dappled shade.
