A shrub that grows 3-4m tall and 2-3m wide. The leaves are thin, long and lance shaped. The attractive foliage is dark green with the new growth a stunning dark purple. The small white flowers make a great contrast with the dark foliage. Suited to the cooler weather.

As it has low water needs this plant can be used in hard to care areas with the deep foliage color it attracts the eye from all the green.

Position & Soil

Likes a well drained,moist, humus rich to clay soil, or even a sandy loam. Takes the wind in coastal areas and likes full sun position. Needs very little water.
