Coral Gum

This is a small to medium spreading native tree with rough grey to black bark on the trunk and often larger branches. The bark will flakes rather than peels. Leaves are lanceolate and greyish green in colour. Flowers are large and normally coral-pink in colour.

Due to its compact size this tree is a perfect native for small to large gardens and makes a great streetscape tree. Also good for large landscapes and gardens.

Position & Soil

Prefers well drained soils and can withstand dry conditions but does better with regular moisture. Refrain from high phosphorus fertilisers.
